AMII Platform — Health and Medical App Declarations

Apple App Store and Google Play health-policy statement

DRAFT FOR REVIEW

Effective date: July 23, 2026. Reassess this declaration whenever diagnostic, device-integration, HealthKit, Health Connect, telehealth, medication, or clinical-decision functionality changes.

1. Nature of the App

AMII Platform supports dental appointment scheduling, reservations, dentist availability, patient charts, document review, treatment and follow-up coordination, patient education, offers, notifications, and visit feedback.

The App is designed to facilitate communication and administrative coordination between patients, dentists, and authorized AMII personnel. It is not intended to replace the independent professional judgment of a licensed dentist or other qualified healthcare professional.

2. Medical Device and Diagnostic Status

• The current App is not represented as a regulated medical device.

• The current App does not diagnose disease, prescribe treatment, calculate medication doses, measure vital signs, generate X-rays, or claim to produce clinical measurements from device sensors.

• The App does not currently integrate with Apple HealthKit, Apple Clinical Health Records, Google Health Connect, or Android health permissions.

• If future functionality performs diagnosis, monitoring, clinical decision support, medical-device control, or physiological measurement, AMII must reassess regulatory status and app-store declarations before release.

3. Recommended Google Play Health Apps Declaration

Based on the current feature set, the following Google Play categories are likely applicable and should be selected after confirming the final production build and store listing:

Healthcare Services and Management — appointment scheduling, provider connection, health-record workflow, insurance navigation, and healthcare logistics.

Diseases and Conditions Management — oral-health and dental-treatment coordination.

Medical Reference and Education — educational dental and implant content for patients and healthcare professionals.

Do not select Medical Device Apps unless the App becomes regulated or performs regulated medical-device functions. Do not select Health Connect categories unless the App actually requests Health Connect permissions.

4. Apple Health and Medical Positioning

• The App handles user-provided health and medical information and should declare Apple’s Health data category in App Store Connect.

• Because healthcare is a highly regulated field, the App should be submitted through the legal entity providing or operating the service rather than an individual developer account.

• No clinical, treatment, insurance, identification, or health data may be used for behavioral advertising, unrelated marketing, tracking, or data-broker activity.

• If the App later makes medical accuracy claims, AMII must disclose the supporting methodology and regulatory documentation where applicable.

5. Health Information Handled

• Dental service requests and treatment categories.

• Tooth numbers, oral areas, clinical notes, chart logs, treatment plans, treatment status, surgery status, and follow-up information.

• Appointment, reservation, treatment, and lifecycle history.

• Insurance and identification information and document images.

• Visit feedback that may discuss a health-service experience.

6. Permitted Uses

• Create and manage patient and dentist accounts.

• Match or connect patients with appropriate dental providers.

• Schedule, confirm, modify, and complete reservations.

• Allow dentists to review documents, maintain charts, create chart logs, document treatment, and coordinate follow-up care.

• Provide patient education and service-related communications.

• Maintain security, audit history, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

7. Prohibited Uses

• Selling health or clinical data.

• Using health or clinical data for third-party advertising.

• Using health or clinical data for unrelated first-party marketing or audience profiling.

• Cross-app tracking or data-broker disclosure.

• Automated diagnosis or treatment recommendations presented as a substitute for professional care.

• Writing false or inaccurate information into an external health-record system.

8. User-Facing Medical Disclaimer

AMII Platform provides scheduling, administrative, educational, and care-coordination tools. It does not provide emergency services and is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed dentist or healthcare professional. Users should contact a qualified provider regarding dental or medical questions and should seek emergency assistance through local emergency services when urgent care is needed.

9. Provider Responsibility

Dentists and dental practices remain responsible for professional judgment, patient communication, clinical decisions, documentation accuracy, legal record-retention obligations, informed consent, and compliance with professional and healthcare regulations applicable to their services.

10. Review Checklist

• Confirm no HealthKit, Health Connect, sensor-measurement, or diagnostic feature exists in the production build.

• Confirm the App listing does not claim to diagnose, cure, prevent, or measure a condition unless legally supported.

• Confirm all health data uses match the Privacy Policy and store disclosures.

• Confirm a visible medical disclaimer appears in the App and public education pages.

• Confirm reviewer credentials provide access to the health-related workflows.
